Jordan’s update

Hi Valerie. I just wanted to share this photo with you of Jordan chopping up a pumpkin. A silly thing, but it would have been a dangerous thing a year ago, and we are thankful God used you to help her heal.

Bev’s testimonial

I have been having Acupuncture sessions with Val Hanna over the past 5 years and want you to know what an excellent Acupuncturist Val truly is. Val has treated my sinus infection/joint pain and intestinal issues with great relief to the problem. Val’s technique is efficient and relaxing and her knowledge base extensive. Val is an excellent listener and reassuring in her sessions that bring a sense of relaxation. I encourage everyone to try this modality of healing with Val and see the difference it can make in your well being.

Jordan’s Mom

My 11 year old daughter, Jordan, had been allergic to a few foods for several years, with mild symptoms. Suddenly she began having reactions to several new foods, and the reactions started affecting her throat to the point where we took an EPI pen where ever she went. In addition, most of her food allergies would be triggered through the air, even at large distances. She started getting daily headaches which were not relieved by any means, and caused her to have serious trouble sleeping. She was no longer able to be out in public because she was allergic to sunflower oil through the air, and that ingredient is in skin and beauty products used by many people. Her world was limited to our home and we had to carefully remove all products containing any allergen from our environment, indoors and out.

I knew she needed aggressive intervention or her life would be completely limited and perhaps even continually at risk. Her allergist told us traditional allergy shots were risky given how sensitive she was to her allergens. Our functional medicine doctor told us that N.A.E.T. is what she needed. He also mentioned that the skill of the practitioner was crucial to the success of the treatment. We had trouble finding a provider that didn’t have a long waiting list, but then we found Valerie Hanna.

Valerie was able to see Jordan right way and after just a few visits we were already seeing improvements. Following the previous steady decline in Jordan’s health, it was astounding to see a turn for the better. We continued faithfully with one to two appointments a week, removing one or two allergies from Jordan’s long list with each visit. The day she could eat a chip containing sunflower oil, which days prior would have started closing up her throat if she was in the same room as it, was an emotional and awesome day. We had been utterly convinced this technique was amazingly and powerfully affective.

After Valerie treated Jordan for the foods we knew made her symptomatic, she still had unexplained headaches that didn’t seem to be triggered by any food. Valerie was patient, persistent and intuitive in her pursuit of the remaining causes of Jordan’s headaches. She listened closely to Jordan’s symptoms, her previous health history, and her emotions. Valerie persisted until she found that the residual titanium from a leg surgery was triggering an allergic response. She treated for titanium and the headaches dramatically improved. Valerie again persisted and found that the silicone on Jordan’s glasses nose piece was also a problem. After silicone was cleared, Jordan’s headaches all but disappeared. We will continue with a few more appointments to find the last allergen that is causing her remaining very occasional headaches, since we know this method is what can relieve them.

To say that Valerie’s treatment was life changing for Jordan and our whole family is a major understatement. I cannot say enough about how well Valerie practices the powerful technique of N.A.E.T.. Her compassion, calm demeanor and sense of humor helped Jordan feel comfortable and confident that she could get better. Valerie saw Jordan as a whole person and integrated that view into her treatment to phenomenal effect. Today Jordan can eat foods that she has avoided for most of her life. She has no airborne food reactions whatsoever. The only food she does not eat is peanuts, out of an abundance of caution, because peanuts are a particularly difficult allergen. But she no longer notices if they are in her environment so we know she’s much safer around them. Her activities are not restricted in any way by allergies. In short, her life has been given back to her, and it’s healthier and happier because of Valerie’s care. We will always be thankful for her!
